JOB TITLE
Field Engineer - Memphis

Millennium Machinery is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Memphis, TN area. This integral role is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery equipment and all components that factor into the operations of the machine.
Other responsibilities include:
Traveling to customer facilities in the regional area (mostly day travel) to perform repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on Swiss CNC machines and controls.
Install, maintain, and repair machine accessories such as bar loaders, high-pressure units, mist collectors, etc.
Solve operating problems and ensure customers have little downtime. Resolve problems efficiently and professionally.
Maintain a good relationship with customers with a proactive attitude.
Program CNC software and devise solutions using blueprints, manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources.
Provide comprehensive training to customers.
The successful candidate will:
Possess in-depth knowledge of machinery operations and maintenance on Cincom or Miyano products. Typically 3+ years.
Have a progressive, self-starting, proactive attitude and a customer-focused work ethic.
Able to travel daily. Most travel is within the regional area. Some overnight travel is required.
Be dependable with strong time management and organizational skills.
Believe in high-quality work and is mechanically inclined.

Applications Engineer

Other responsibilities include:
Conducts customer needs analysis, interprets, and translates into manufacturable products meeting all quality and production time specifications.
Performs testing, improvement, and re-designing tasks for customers.
Writes technical drawings, control plans, and reports as needed.
Maintains a good relationship with customers with a proactive attitude.
Programs CNC software, devising solutions using blueprints, manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources.
Provides comprehensive training to customers.
The successful candidate will:
Possess in-depth knowledge of Swiss CNC Applications protocols. Typically 5+ years of experience.
Strong experience with tooling and work-holding solutions.
Solid project management capabilities.
Have a progressive, self-starting, proactive attitude and a customer focused work ethic.
Have the ability to travel to customer sites to assist with implementation and training. Some overnight travel.
Be dependable with strong time management and organizational skills.
Believes in high-quality work and takes pride in assisting customers.
